Melati Drinks offers dedicated Melati Veganuary menus

By  |  0 Comments

Inspired by the global Veganuary movement, non-alcoholic aperitif Melati Drinks has teamed up with eight Singapore restaurants and cafes to curate dedicated Melati Veganuary menus.

Melati Drinks was designed as a restorative non-alcoholic Aperitif and is crafted from 26 individually selected Asian botanicals. The drink is fruity,
floral, and spicy and offers a deliciously complex alternative to alcoholic beverages.

The collaboration with the restaurants and cafes offers vegan food and beverage pairings for the health conscious – or health curious – to kickstart 2021.

Some of the participating restaurants and cafes and menus highlights are:

  1. Afterglow: Teriyaki ‘Meat’ball Tacos – hand-pressed White Button Mushrooms, Walnuts, and Gluten-free Oats, saturated with housemade sake teriyaki sauce, sautéed and presented on a bed of Romaine Leaves and Salsa. Priced at SGD 26++ per set, either dish can be paired with an Espresso Melati – Melati Classic, Black Coffee, and Honey.
  2. Caffe Cicheti: Cicheti Salad with a base of mixed mesclun, quinoa, ceci, sesame seeds and dried cranberries. Priced at SGD 28++ per set, and paired with a Melati Spritz (Melati and soda water served over ice).
  3. COMO Cuisine: COMO Shambhala Wild Rice Salad – avocado, sweetcorn, chopped rainbow vegetables, tahini and tamari dressing – with a Melati Spritz.
  4. The Dempsey Cookhouse & Bar: Baby Beets and Cranberry, Endive, Ice Wine Vinegar and Tarragon, together with an uplifting Melati Spritz for SGD 28++.
  5. SPRMRKT: SPRMRKT has created three new dishes, including pumpkin Croquette served with Okra Tempura and Parsnip Puree, Farro and Black Barley with Oven-Baked Miso Eggplant and Edamame, and Braised Daikon and Shitake Mushroom with Spiced Walnut. The Melati Veganuary set includes one dish and a Melati Spritz for SGD 30++.
  6. The Living Café: A three-course menu, featuring a gorgeous Beetroot Ravioli with balsamic vinaigrette, a hearty Tempeh Buddha Bowl (tempeh, cumin roast sweet potato, purple cabbage, sprouts, avocado and housemade kimchi with a creamy miso and almond dressing) and concluding with an Orient Bliss Set — a trio of Bliss Balls inspired by the flavours of Melati Classic, such as ginger, orange, cacao and goji. The set is accompanied by a Melati Spritz.
