The Mindful Village is a global online community powered by Emerge Performance, an executive coaching firm based in Singapore. It offers a safe and supportive space for holistic self-care and overall well-being.

Through a subscription-based membership model, the Mindful Village offers unlimited access to daily mindfulness practices and curated activities such as live meditation sessions, mindful movement and exercises.

Belonging to a global online community like The Mindful Village helps one cope with the daily stressors of life and connect with others. It can instigate rediscovery of one’s self and lead to finding joy and meaning in life. The Mindful Village is a conducive place where one can reset, renew and revive in a world where we are easily distracted and questioning of life’s purpose.

The Mindful Village and the MBSR course

Tapping into the ongoing trend of increasing mental health awareness, and the negative trend of burnout becoming more frequent, The Mindful Village seeks to promote the practice of mindfulness as an increasingly important skill to cultivate. It can be used to navigate life and work as we re-emerge into a fast-paced, post-pandemic world.

The Mindful Village has opened registration for the first cohorts of its 2022
Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) course
. This is an eight-week evidence-based programme that focuses on secular, intensive mindfulness training to support individuals in better managing stress, anxiety and pain.

Developed at the University of Massachusetts Medical Centre in the 1970s by Professor Jon Kabat-Zinn, MBSR uses a combination of mindfulness meditation, body awareness, yoga and exploration of patterns of behaviour, thinking, feeling and action.

The first MBSR cohort for 2022 starts on 19 May, and will take place every Thursday from 1900 to 2130. The second cohort, led by Adelaide-based mindfulness instructor Toni Mulraney, starts on 4 June, and continues every Saturday from 1000 to 1230. The course is priced at USD 499.
