Arthritis is a condition in which sufferers experience pain and inflammation in the joints. The pain can range from mild to severe and even debilitating. No matter what we do, it affects our lives. This affects our health, our decision-making and other things we do, and even the food we are taking. Having a disease such as arthritis can transform our way of living. It may even become very stressful and can affect our state of mind. But what causes arthritis?

What are the causes of Arthritis?

The cause of these problems, however, can be quite difficult to determine and the type of arthritis developed also depends on various risk factors. For example, the development of osteoarthritis (the most common form of arthritis) is strongly correlated with the age of a person due to the progressive fragility and the inability of the elderly cartilage to repair itself. However, it is generally accepted that the following factors may cause or increase the risk of developing this disease:

  • Age – The older you get, the more likely you’re to develop arthritis. In fact, the cartilage will become more fragile, and your body will be getting more and more difficult to repair the damage.
  • Genetics – Studies have suggested that genetics may contribute to the likelihood of arthritis development.
  • Weight – Being weight can increase pressure on the joints and worsen wound joint problems. Therefore, it is important (if you have excessive body weight) to try to lose some pounds because you will reduce additional pressure on the weight joints, reduce the pain and improve the body movement and the quality of your body.
  • Injury – Injuries at the joint can cause irregularities in the joint area that may have damaged the cartilage surrounding the joints.

So, how can we cure painful arthritis in our body? There are many treatments for arthritis which is available everywhere. Some can even be found online. There are also natural ways to cure it.

The main forms of arthritis are: osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, septic arthritis, gout, juvenile idiopathic arthritis, Still’s disease, and ankylosing spondylitis.
