‘Go for Gold’ for International Childhood Cancer Awareness Month with LOVE, NILS

By  |  0 Comments

LOVE, NILS is celebrating a month-long awareness and fundraising campaign in support of the International Childhood Cancer Awareness Month

LOVE, NILS, one of Singapore’s children’s cancer charities has organised an awareness and fundraising campaign happening across September.

LOVE, NILS is urging corporates, schools, individuals and the public to ‘Go for Gold’ throughout September and ‘Shine a Light on Childhood Cancer’. There are many ways to get involved – from wearing a gold ribbon, creating a buzz on social media or even organising a gold-themed event at home, school or office!

This is a great opportunity to raise awareness and funds for children and their families struggling with a cancer diagnosis.

We would love as many people as possible to join in the fun with us this September and ‘Shine a Light on Childhood Cancer’! With everyone’s fantastic support, it will help LOVE, NILS spread awareness about this disease and continue to help us run programs that support children with cancer, and their families, during the trauma of childhood cancer. We would love as many people as possible across Singapore to help LOVE, NILS turn this red dot into gold!”

Lesli Berggren, Founder and Executive Director of LOVE, NILS

Lesli Berggren founded LOVE, NILS, a Singapore registered charity in 2017. The charity provides support to children with cancer and their caregivers with healthcare guidance, emotional care, and social and community support.

LOVE, NILS is the only non-profit in Singapore that raises funds to pay for patient navigators at NUH Paediatric Oncology Department, who can offer patients and caregivers with the hope and support they need, including integrative therapies, home visits, school student involvement programmes and more.
