New regional data passports from M1
M1 launches new S$25 ASEAN Data Passport and S$50 Asia Data Passports
The M1 ASEAN Data Passport allows customers to use their local data bundle in nine ASEAN destinations including Malaysia, Thailand, and Vietnam and is available for S$25 per month.
The S$50 per month Asia Data Passport will handle customers’ data roaming needs across 22 popular Asian tourist and business destinations, including China, Hong Kong, Japan, India, Nepal, Saudi Arabia, and South Korea.
Customers can boost thier data bundles by purchasing “Upsized Data” with prices ranging from S$5.90 for up to 12GB, and S$17.70 for up to 36GB extra data.
Since July 2015, M1 has increased the number of destinations that are offered by the M1 Data Passport service from six to 56 destinations in 2017. These include new countries such as Brunei, Israel, Laos, Myanmar, Nepal, and Vietnam.
