The New Lexus RX Unveiled
The all-new Lexus RX was unveiled by Borneo Motors (Singapore) Pte Ltd to the guests and media partners at Capella Singapore, injecting yet another dose of design elegance into the luxury SUV range.
The Lexus RX series has been a popular choice within the country, and has secured an evergreen status of style, performance and luxury with the fans locally ever since its introduction way back in 1998.
This time, the package moves in bold and refined. Both ends of the Lexus RX has been marked by its triple L-shaped headlamps as well as the LED rear combination lamps, a treat to watch when illuminated. The deeply framed spindle grill is signature to the uplifting design theme that wraps around the sides of the vehicle, oozing a sharpened appearance.
For the interior, space has been balanced with a reconfigured and redesigned cabin, lengthening the wheelbase and increasing the spread with the both legroom and luggage compartment. Ambient lighting is positioned along the metallic ornamentation of the interior door trim, enhancing the elegance of the interior build.
The new RX350 powers on a V6 engine with a displacement of 3,456cc and reputedly does 9.6L/100km on paper. The other variants in the RX range will feature the RX Turbo and also the RX Hybrid.
