HIIT Workout

HIIT, also known as High-Intensity Interval Training, is getting a huge spotlight lately. It’s the perfect workout routine for those who don’t want to go to the gym and prefer to get fit at home. According to studies, HIIT training is very effective in achieving an intensive workout in a short period of time.

This routine might work on you if you want to get started on cardio, improve your stamina and endurance altogether. Of course, you have to make an effort to change your diet and choose healthy foods in the long run.

To help you get started, here are some HIIT workout routines you may want to keep your tabs on:

HIIT Workout Techniques

For beginners, try doing each move for 20 seconds and take 10 seconds of rest. Repeat the exercise once and move to the next one.

Squats. This may sound easy, but it gets really difficult once you challenge your body to get even lower.

Jumping Jacks. Make sure to bend your arms to reach above your head while you jump. If it’s too difficult for you, you can always slow it down to adjust to your body’s condition.

Push-ups. This is quite difficult, especially for beginners. Getting into a standard plank position is hard while keeping your mid-section from arching up or sagging. Don’t push it too hard the first time you try. You can always do better next time as you get stronger day by day.

Abdominal Crunches. Your abs will be put to the test every time you lie on your back and reach for your elbows. This is also a great exercise to challenge your core.

There are still loads of simple techniques out there that can be incorporated in your HIIT workout routine. All you have to do is take action and be determined to get fit one day at a time.
