Breathe Easier with the Improved N95 Mask

We’ve become so used to the haze that it doesn’t surprise us if it crops up every now and then unexpectedly. The expected solution is of course, typically the 3M N95 mask.

3M has updated and improved on its iconic N95 mask: the 3M Aura Particulate Respirator 9211+, N95. The new version seeks to minimise risk of air-borne illnesses and at the same offer improved comfort over its predecessors. The embossed top panel also reduces the potential of fogging your eyewear due to the warm and moist exhaled air.

Other improvements include comfortable braided headbands, a contoured nose panel, and a chin tab for ease of positioning, donning and adjustment to better adapt to unique face shapes. It is also made from a proprietary, non-woven, soft inner material and has a one-way valve to allow easy exhalation and increased comfort.

The N95 blocks 95 percent of fine particles as tiny as 0.1-0.3 microns, so it offers protection against the fine particles that are present in the haze (PM2.5). In addition to protecting yourself from harmful elements of the haze, it can also be used in situations where a lot of dust is involved, like woodworking. It’s certified by the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH).

The 3M Aura Particulate Respirators 9211+, N95 is available through authorised 3M distributors at S$3.50 per pack.
