New Balance Launches The FreshFoam 980 Trail
The new FreshFoam 980 Trail gives runners plush cushioning properties and inherent stability in a more minimal package.
New Balance has given the FreshFoam 980 Trail an increased lug size and purposeful lug placement for better traction and has also given the wearer a well cushioned ride with a blend of super soft foam that is incredibly responsive. The shoe’s aggressive lugged outsole also offers durability and flexibility for the trails in a 4 mm natural drop last while providing both a light and stable ride.
The FreshFoam 980 Trail has a lightweight, breathable construction paired with a plush upper to keep your feet comfortable and protected, while a gusseted tongue has been added to keep debris out. Additional support and protective elements in the upper allow for the unpredictable nature of trails while a synthetic and mesh upper with no sew overlays make for an eye-catching design to provide a lower to the ground running shoe ideal.
