Happy Tennis for a Happy Family

By  |  0 Comments

Apple TV owners, you’ll be pleased to know that you’ll now be able to have some Wii-esque fun with your family.

Happy Tennis is a home-grown app that also happens to be Asia’s first motion-sensing game designed for Apple TV. It’s a casual party game that feels like something you would play on a Nintendo Wii, the popular family-oriented game console that popularised motion-sensing games.

The game makes use of  the accelerometer in your Apple TV remote or your iOS device to simulate a tennis racquet as you take on the computer or family members in a virtual tennis game. It gives you all the fun of volleys, smashes, and ace services minus the huffing and puffing – no need for Nadal-like recovery runs here.

Designed for single or multiplayer play (up to four players), visitors can easily jump in by downloading the Happy Tennis Remote app onto their iOS device and joining your Wi-Fi network. The Happy Tennis Remote supports all iOS devices running on iOS 9.0 and above.

From now until 22 February 2016, Happy Tennis will be available on the tvOS App Store for S$2.98, before reverting to its original price of S$6.98.
