June Launch for New Fitbit Luxe™ in Singapore

The new Fitbit Luxe fitness and wellness tracker sports a beautiful, comfortable and versatile design and includes new features such as Stress Management Score

The Fitbit Luxe is a new fitness and wellness tracker that comes with a colour touchscreen, provides up to five days of battery life, and access to a Health Metrics dashboard.

From a design perspective, Fitbit took inspiration from traditional jewellery-making techniques and used an innovative design process metal injection moulding to create Luxe’s stainless steel case. Fitbit used a metal vaporizing technique on the soft gold and platinum finishes to provide a high polish synonymous with jewellery.

The tracker provides all the necessary convenience and smart features such as alarms, a stopwatch and timers as well as customisable call, text and smartphone notifications.

Measuring and monitoring stress with the Fitbit Luxe™

A survey found that 50 percent of people felt the physical and mental effects of stress due to the pandemic.

Fitbit is making its relevant stress management tools available through Luxe and the Stress Management Score. This score provides a daily assessment of your body’s ability to handle stress based on your activity levels, sleep and heart rate.

Fitbit Premium members will additionally receive a detailed breakdown of their Stress Management Score including information on exertion, sleep patterns and responsiveness.

Using the Health Metrics dashboard for a holistic approach to managing health

The Fitbit app and the Health Metrics dashboard tracks breathing rate, heart rate variability (HRV), resting heart rate (RHR) and skin temperature variation. Oxygen saturation (SpO2) is a pending feature.

Users can wear the Luxe nightly to manage their sleep. The Sleep Score can help users understand sleep quality, with bedtime reminders to help establish a more consistent sleep routine.

Additional health tools include food, hydration and weight logging, as well as menstrual health tracking.

Premium members can view deeper sleep analytics and also have access to more than 60 new pieces of nutrition content including curated healthy recipes.

Achieving fitness goals with the Fitbit Luxe™

The Luxe also provides 24/7 heart rate tracking that powers many of Fitbit’s health, wellness and fitness tools. Users can track their daily heart rate in real-time to better measure calorie-burn.

There are also more than 20 different on-wrist exercise modes including golf, pilates, spinning or tennis. For those that prefer outdoor sports, they can use the connected GPS from the phone to see real-time pace and distance when running, biking, or hiking.

The Active Zone Minutes is a personalised standard for tracking activity beyond steps that measures your time spent in each heart rate zone, to gauge when to push back, and it helps users reach the weekly recommended goal of 150 Active Zone Minutes to help improve overall health.

Premium members can access more than 200 guided audio and video workouts from certified personal trainers and popular brands such as Aaptiv, barre3, Daily Burn, obé and POPSUGAR.

Pricing and availability

The Fitbit Luxe will be available by June 2021, at major retailers in Singapore such as Amazon, Best Denki, Challenger, Courts, E-Gadget, Gain City, Lazada, Harvey Norman, and Shopee.
