By  |  0 Comments

Available in numerous outstanding colours, the Nokia XL is an affordable smartphone that will be sold exclusively online before any retail store from 13 June.

Following from our previous article on easy-to-use smartphones with large screens, Nokia has joined in the fray with its XL model, a phone that boasts of a 5” display, 5MP rear-facing auto-focus camera with flash and 2MP front-facing camera.

Part of the Nokia X series of smartphones, the XL features two screens; the Home Screen features a fresh, tile-based design and the customisable screen allows the tiles to be resized and moved around so that it is personalised to unique preferences and style. The other, Fastlane, has been completely re-imagined for the Nokia X family. Fastlane is a dynamic record of how people use their phone, day by day, moment by moment that range from posts on social media to the latest emails.

Other features of the Nokia XL include pre-loaded HERE Maps – accessible both online and offline – which also features turn-by-turn voice guided navigation, free music streaming and downloadable playlists from MixRadio and 10GB of free cloud storage via Microsoft OneDrive. 7GB is offered to start and is automatically increased to 3GB more upon opting to auto-save images from the camera roll.

The Nokia XL will be available exclusively online from 13 June 2014 at 12 noon sharp at a recommended price of S$239.
