Festive Family Fun At Sentosa
Keep your loved ones entertained this festive break with a range of fun-filled activities put together by The State of Fun.
With the December holidays well on its way, what better way to spend it than with family? Throughout this festive period, The State of Fun will offer an exciting line-up of family activities at Sentosa. These activities include the magical Symphony of Lights, a Christmas light-up set to popular festive tunes; live musical performances at Christmas Cheers; and Christmas-themed activities for the kids at Christmas Joy.
The line-up of activities are as follows:
Symphony of Lights
When: 28 Nov 2015 to 3 Jan 2016 (Light shows from 28 Nov to 25 Dec 2015);
Venue: Merlion Plaza to Beach Plaza
The spectacular Symphony of Lights returns to brighten up your holidays on 28 November. Featuring colours and lights synchronised to joyous Christmas tunes, Symphony of Lights will take visitors on a visual and auditory journey as it transforms into a magical wonderland when night falls. Take a walk under twinkling lights with the younger ones from a 6-metre tall Christmas tree to a majestic arch.
Christmas Cheers
When: 23 to 26 Dec
Venue: Merlion Plaza
Christmas Cheers will offer visitors a chance for a sing-along. Enjoy live music performances while watching the sunset, and sample delicious grilled food amidst an alfresco setting. Live performances will include Christmas carols by Voxapella and a lively jam session from Ukulele Groove.
Christmas Joy
When: 24 to 26 Dec
Venue: Port of Lost Wonder, Palawan Beach
The younger ones will love Christmas Joy with its array of Christmas-themed activities at the Port of Lost Wonder (POLW), Singapore’s first kids’ club by the beach. Activities include making your own gingerbread man cookie, building a snowman, riding on a merry carousel, watching the elves at work, taking a dip in the Snowy Wonderland (bubble party), or cooling down in a frosty pool house.
Entry is priced at SGD 29 per child, while accompanying adults and POLW members may entry for free.
Wings of Time
When: Opens daily
Venue: Siloso Beach
Finally, be sure to check out Wings of Time at Siloso Beach. The award-winning multi-sensory light extravaganza tells a story of courage, mystery and magic. As the world’s only permanent night show set in the open sea, look out for dazzling multimedia effects which include 3D projection mapping, state-of-the-art lasers, robotic water fountains and giant water jets.
Entry is priced from SGD 15.
