Gagfare enables travellers to search flights globally and secure a confirmed, best airfare ticket on their desired flight instantly

Hong Kong-based travel company Gagfare has released the world’s first “Book Now, Pay Later” smartphone app. Gagfare charges travellers US$10 to secure up to 9 seats on their desired flight. Travellers will not have to pay the remainder of the fare until closer to their travel date.

According to David Leung, founder of Gagfare, “Gagfare taps into multiple global distribution systems specifically for flight reservations, enables customers to search and book their flights directly through in airlines’ own systems. This gives travellers access to promotional deals they may never encounter anywhere else online.”

As a service, Gagfare offers special time-sensitive promotional fares and access to hundreds of thousands of flights around the world. Customers can choose to book with their favourite airlines or search alternative routes; book multiple-stop itineraries; and check their bookings through official airline websites by using their Gagfare booking reference number. The mobile app will be able to handle end-to-end bookings and customers can book their flights as though going through the airline booking system. This includes entering passenger details, confirmation of booking (payment through PayPal) and securing seat details.

A reminder email will be automatically sent by the system when it is time to pay the remaining fare and issue the ticket.

The smartphone app is available for free download from the iTunes App Store and Google Play Store.
