Heritage Cuisine & Mid-Autumn Surprises At Grand Mercure

To commemorate both the nation’s 51st birthday as well as the Mid-Autumn Festival, Grand Mercure Singapore Roxy brings nostalgia to the dining table with a series of promotions.

Expect some exciting new dining offerings from now to September at Grand Mercure as the hotel celebrates the upcoming National Day and Mid-Autumn Festival.

National Day Promotions

Feast@East Buffet Restaurant National Day

For the month of August, Feast@East Buffet Restaurant will be offering a Heritage Cuisine promotion, offering a wide variety of local and seafood dishes amidst a relaxing atmosphere. Special dine-in rates will also be available for Senior Citizens and Pioneers daily, while Adults and Children stand to enjoy 50 percent discount on Wednesdays for lunch and dinner. Lunch is priced at SGD 45 for adults while Dinner is starting at SGD 48 for adults.

Jia Wei National Day Set Menu Dishes - Chilled Whole Coconut Pudding with ice cream

Over at Jia Wei Chinese Restaurant, a fine selection of four set menus – “Just Believe”, “Stand Together Heart To Heart”, “Vision For Tomorrow” and “Together As One”, will be introduced for the month of August to commemorate Singapore’s 51st birthday. Expect to tuck into Head Chef Victor Lee’s signature dishes including the Duo Cold Combination, Double Boiled Sea Treasure Soup and Chilled Whole Coconut Pudding with Ice Cream. The set menus are starting from SGD 288.

For a taste of nostalgia, the hotel’s Wave Café will be bringing back popular local dishes such as Signature Laksa, Singapore “Lor Mee” and Singapore Bak Chor Mee, from 5 to 9 August at a special price of SGD 5.10 each, with a refreshing popsicle stick to go along.

Mid-Autumn Surprises

 

This year, Grand Mercure’s Head Chef Lester Wang presents a selection of new mooncake flavours available at Wave Café and Jia Wei Chinese Restaurant. From 1 August to 15 September, be sure to get your hands on new inventive flavours such as the Classic Durian Paste with Single Egg Yolk mooncake (SGD 56.80 for box of four); as well as new snowskin flavours including the Mini Chempedak (SGD 56 for eight), Mini Assorted Berries infused with Red Wine (SGD 54 for eight), and Mini Longan infused with Ginger Tea (SGD 54 for eight). Signature favourites such as the Raspberry with Dark Chocolate snowskin mooncake (SGD 56 for eight) will make a comeback this year as well.
