Celebrating its first year, Japan Food Town is offering its first ever month-long one-for-one promotions with different restaurants being featured each week! Now you can save as you indulge in delicious Japanese food all in one locale. Restaurants being featured this week, include Hokkaido Izakaya, with its fresh produce from Hokkaido and delicate soba offerings, as well Inaniwa Yosuke, for its handmade udon. Not to be missed is also Tsukiji Sushi Takewaka, freshly flown in seafood from that same famous market we all have come to love on our travels to Tokyo.

As each restaurant offers limited sets daily, be sure to head down early to enjoy the deals! Health-conscious foodies will be happy to note that half of the eateries at Japan Food Town are using a healthier-choice of Japanese rice. Also all the outlets use seasonal produce that is imported daily from the many Japanese prefectures via a logistic hub in Okinawa to ensure the freshest ingredients.

To commemorate this special occasion, there have been special events such as Maguro Cutting Show as well other activities lined up, such as specially flown in Nozaki wagyu flown in for cutting and sale (29th July 1pm, 30 July 5:30pm) as well as flower arrangement lessons with One Olive Floral Boutique (5-6 August 2pm and 4:30pm) for the general public to participate in.

Diners can also fill not just their stomachs but their wallets as Japan Food Town is running a Facebook and Instagram contest. Diners will need to post celebratory pictures of those weekly featured restaurants on those social media platforms with the hashtag #JFT1Anniversary to stand a chance to win $1,000 vouchers. There are still two weeks to go for the contest so best of luck!
