ODP Launches Singapore’s First 100% Gluten & Dairy-Free Menu

By  |  0 Comments

Open Door Policy (ODP) introduces a brand new dining concept that will thrill locals who want to enjoy delicious gluten- and dairy-free food.

Tiong Bahru’s favourite gourmet spot, ODP is revolutionising the Singapore gourmet scene with the introduction of the island’s first 100 percent gluten-free and dairy-free menu. Inspired by her travels in the United Kingdom, Founder of Spa Esprit Group, Cynthia Chua, worked closely with Executive Chef Ryan Clift to revamp ODP’s menu.

With the aim of treating our bodies with respect and being mindful of our relationship with nature – while not compromising on taste, the new menu marries healthy eating with elevated flavours. The tasty, contemporary comfort food is perfect for diners who have gluten- or dairy-intolerances and allergies, or who simply want to eat in a sustainable, healthy way.

To complement its revamped menu, ODP has also introduced a new indoor vertical farming programme where leafy vegetables are grown in-house and incorporated into the bistro’s dishes.

New menu highlights

Vegan Maccheroni Pasta

Some menu highlights to look out for include the Rustic Tapioca (SGD 18) served with borlotti beans soup, tomato and warm bread; as well as the Vegan Maccheroni Pasta (SGD 24) topped with a portobello bolognese gratin and béchamel.

Other dishes include ODP’s Fresh Spaghetti (SGD 28), tossed with artichoke hearts, mountain asparagus, and smoked mackerel for a hearty mix of nutty, smoky and tart flavours. For some of those fresh greens, be sure to try their Quinoa Salad , featuring fermented root vegetables paired with quinoa, garlic soil and garden herbs.

Meat-lovers on the other hand may delight in the Grilled 250g Ribeye Steak (SGD 38), accompanied by an ODP herb salad laced with a hazelnut dressing; as well as a tender Braised Veal Ossobuco (SGD 32) featuring sunny carrot risotto, smoked paprika, and watercress.

Gluten and dairy-free desserts? ODP has got you covered. The Dates and Walnut Cheesecake (SGD 16) is served with red apple, and probably more than holds its own against its dairy and gluten-filled counterpart. For an Asian twist, the Sago & Coconut (SGD 16) is guaranteed a crowd-pleaser with its pairing of fresh mango and black sesame ice cream.

Open Door Policy is located at 19 Yong Siak Street (Yong Siak View), Singapore 168650. For more information, visit odpsingapore.com.
