From now till 29 February, Singaporeans are invited to share their treasured personal experiences at any of the wildlife parks at Mandai through an online photo-sharing event.

Organised by Mandai Safari Park Holdings, #MyMandai aims to showcase nostalgia and the important social impact of these beloved parks over the past 45 years through the public’s eyes.

From Jurong Bird Park and Singapore Zoo, to Night Safari and River Safari, this event is a visual treat for the public. By contributing photos to #MyMandai, they will witness their precious experiences form the foundation of a digital mural, which will be brought to life with help from the Organisation of Illustrators Council, a local platform for Singaporean illustrators to collaborate and inspire through art. The mural will be installed physically at Singapore Zoo for public viewing for two months, from 1 February to 31 March 2016.

The public is encouraged to submit their favourite photos taken at Jurong Bird Park, Singapore Zoo, Night Safari and River Safari, on mymandai.com or on Instagram with the hashtag #MyMandai. The first 1,000 photo submissions will be rewarded with a S$10 Wildlife Reserves Singapore voucher each, which can be used in any food and beverage establishment across Jurong Bird Park, Singapore Zoo, Night Safari and River Safari. In addition, each week, a winner with the most interesting photo submission will receive a S$100 Wildlife Reserves Singapore food and beverage voucher.

The #MyMandai online photo-sharing event honours Singapore’s 45 years of wildlife heritage and serves as a prelude to the proposed rejuvenation of the Mandai Nature Precinct. Collectively, the parks have helped parents nurture their kids, build friendships and cement relationships through truly fun-filled journeys which have inspired generations of Singaporeans through the wonders of nature.
