St. Patrick’s Street Festival Comes to Town
Even if you can’t relate to its religious underpinnings, you certainly can relate to the occasion. Today, people the world over celebrate St. Patrick’s Day, often with a pint of Guinness in hand. Today, Guinness says that more than 13 million glasses of Guinness will be drunk around the world.
Don’t forget also that there’s the St. Patrick’s Street Festival coming up on 20th March at Boat Quay and the adjacent Circular Road, where you can take in the carnival-like atmosphere and savour the delights of Irish cuisine with live music and the traditional Parade, starting at the Raffles Landing Site (Sir Stamford Raffles statue). The fun-filled St. Patrick’s Street Festival will kick-off on 19 March and conclude in the iconic St. Patrick’s Day Parade on 20 March.
