Cooked with fish bones, ginger, ikan bilis and yellow beans for eight hours, the fish soup will certainly make for a light yet flavourful meal option. Inspired by Japanese cooking, the fish slices are dipped in beaten eggs instead of the usual flour-based batter before frying. The result is fried fish slices that remain crispy even when left in the soup for a while.

Using only fish and chicken meat in their ingredients, Wen Wen Handmade Yong Tau Foo serves up healthy, lard-free Yong Tau Foo that is available either dry or in a soup. With a large variety of freshly-prepared ingredients, aromatic soup and accompanying sauces, expect to enjoy a guilt-free tummy-warming bowl of Yong Tau Foo at the stall.
