Turmeron Joint is a pain reliever for joint inflammation and unwanted synovial membrane growth.

Turmeron Joint or White Tumeric, is an all-natural, vegan, non-GMO and gluten-free food supplement. The supplement is rich in effective Labdanes that aid the body in rebuilding worn out and overused joint components in the knees, hips and fingers.

According to the manufacturer, the main active component – Labdane-type Diterpene – is found in levels up to 100 times higher than the common yellow turmeric. Studies conducted on the consumption of Turmeron Joint supplements have revealed no known side effects.

Turmeron Joint is beneficial for those suffering from osteoarthritis, athletes (runners, body-builders, etc.) and those in professions that require repetitive use of their hands such as chefs and musicians.

Background of Turmeron Joint

The Japanese White Turmeric is cultivated in Kyushu, Japan. Traditionally, farmers took it as turmeric tea and are recognised to significantly healthy, with strong immunity systems.

Turmeron Joint

Research conducted found that the Japanese White Turmeric is the only turmeric known to have rich enough labdane type diterpenes as well as anti-inflammatory properties.

Turmeron Joint was first launched in Japan in 2015, subsequently in North America (2019) and recently in Singapore. Turmeron Joint is patented in Japan and FDA-registered. It is manufactured in Japan with pharmaceutical grade production.

How does Turmeron Joint work?

Turmeron Joint can control inflammation and unwanted synovial membrane growth. The formulation contains 4x the strength. Clinical studies done in Japan have found that 70% of the participants reported significant to very good improvement in their knee, leg, hip, and finger joints, with no side effects.

Co-Founder and CEO of Turmeron International, Mr. Shinji Yamasaki shares more about Turmeron Joint

the Active Age (AA): What’s the background behind the use of Japanese White Turmeric/Turmeron Joint as a recovery supplement?

Mr. Shinji Yamasaki (SY): It all started 18 years ago when we were approached by Kindai University if we were interested in supporting a small project to help turmeric growers and farmers in the southern territory of Kyushu, Japan. This association with Kindai University led us to further support their research of other turmeric.

During our research, we came across one unique turmeric with a beautiful pink and white flower. We brought back some sample leaves from this unknown turmeric for analysis. The leaves of this turmeric, we named as Japanese White Turmeric, have very unique properties which inhibit degradation of hyaluronic acid, moisture and water retaining properties in the skin, and induce cell proliferation which accelerate production of dermis and collagen. This extract has been added to our cosmetics and a new nature derived active cosmetic product was made which we are still selling today.

Through the continued research with Kindai University on Japanese White Turmeric, we found it is actually the Curcuma Longa variety but it only contains a trace amount of curcumin. Instead, Japanese White Turmeric has a very high amount of naturally occurring labdane type diterpenes in its root called rhizome. This is the only turmeric known to have rich enough labdane type diterpenes to be used for supplement and exclusively grown in Japan by us, and we have found that this substance has very potent anti-inflammatory activity.

This finding led us (to) further studies for its safety. After establishing its safety, we have performed the first open study with 30 volunteers at a Japanese hospital under ethical committee approval for osteoarthritis application. This open study resulted in over 70 percent of participants indicating significant to very good improvement for their knee joints, back and hip and fingers. Since then 70 people participated in the open study, 3 clinics and hospitals participated in trials with their patients proving over 70 percent of osteoarthritis sufferers showed significant and /or good improvement.

AA: Can you share/point us to studies that show Turmeron Joint is effective for osteoarthritis (wear and tear of the protective cartilage of the bone due to aging or injury), or for repetitive use of their joints?

SY: We have conducted several studies on the efficacy of Turmeron Joint on osteoarthritis. We have also had our clinical studies published in scientific journals, and just concluded a double blind placebo controlled clinical study of Turmeron Joint with 100 patients, at Copenhagen University, which we hope we’ll be able to publish very soon.

AA: While the supplement is FDA-registered, and manufactured in high-grade facilities, where has the supplement been approved (as a supplement/medication) and/or recommended for usage?

SY: We are currently based in three markets; Singapore, the US, and of course, Japan. In all of these three countries, we are fully compliant to all food supplement regulations set forth by each of its governing bodies.

AA: What are the main benefits of taking Tumeron Joint?

SY: Turmeron Joints main effect is the relief of joint discomfort and assist the body to rebuild worn out and overused joint components (osteoarthritis).

Osteoarthritis is a very common disease worldwide, where typically 20 to 25 percent of the population will be affected and more women suffers than men. Standard treatment options according to American Academy for Orthopedic Surgeons guidelines includes administration of non-selective non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), cyclooxygenase 2 inhibitors (COX-2), corticosteroid intra-articular injections, topical NSAIDs, acetaminophen and finally joint replacements in advanced cases.

Recently intra-articular PRP injection is also being tried. The condition requires long term treatment and the prolonged use of so-called painkillers and anti-inflammatory drugs will often result in secondary problems such as ulcer in the stomach and other digestive organs as well as liver problems.

After years of extensive research, labdane type diterpene from Japanese White Turmeric does not cause such problems and it is more suitable for OA patients thus improving their various mobility problems and avoiding possibilities of getting so-called side effects due to pain killers. In the Japanese studies, there are no side effects reported till today.

AA: What is the frequency of supplement-taking like? Are there any best practices of nutrition, activity or diet that enhances Tumeron Joint?

SY: The current Turmeron Joint has 4 times as much active Japanese White Turmeric extract per capsule than its predecessor, so one capsule a day is highly effective.

In addition to taking Turmeron Joint consistently, everyday, we would advise to eat a healthy, balanced diet, and to drink plenty of water. We have also found that some individuals with very high and frequent usage (such as current or former athletes, etc.) can benefit from taking two capsules a day (one in the morning, one at night) in order to speed up the initial effect. I myself take two a day.
