Citi Indonesia has unveiled three new Smart Banking branches in Jakarta.

Strategically located in the business, trade and affluent residential areas – Kelapa Gading, Prince Center Building and in APOL Building Abdul Muis, Central Jakarta, the branches offer clients a new experience in banking with intuitive touch screens and high definition media walls.

Smart Banking is a revolutionary banking experience, launched first by Citi in Asia in 2009, designed to attract, engage and connect clients with products and services, all on demand. Citi has over 150 Smart Banking branches in Asia out of a total of around 500 branches. Citi, which operates consumer banking services in over 100 cities in Asia, plans to upgrade more conventional branches to Smart Banking branches and open new Smart Banking branches across the region to support its growing consumer franchise that contributed half of Citi Asia’s US$14bn in revenues in 2014.

Each Citi Smart Branch comes with a Citi Workbench which features the latest flat screen technology to allow customers to perform various banking transactions. Other features of Smart Banking include an Interactive Media Wall that displays a diverse range of product information as well as services menu; Instant Account Opening stations that allow customers to conduct banking transactions such as opening an account virtually and paperless and Video Chat facilities that offer immediate access to the bank’s officers in other locations.
