Lounge café and bar, Mr & Mrs Maxwell’s has officially opened at the newly refurbished luxury boutique hotel, The Club, and caters to all diners at different times of the day.

Located at the centre of a restored heritage building, Mr & Mrs Maxwell’s welcomes visitors on an all-day dining adventure. Poised as the living room and the starting point at The Club, the café features a unique concept offering guests a day-to-night dining experience.

Mr & Mrs Maxwell’s offers a variety of menu options that changes alongside the venue’s distinctive atmospheric changes throughout the day. Diners can expect to start the day with sumptuous breakfast items in the ‘AM’, local gourmet main course items at ‘MM’ (mid-morning), and wine and dine items in the ‘PM’. Serving up a variety of brunch items such as bagels, eggs, pancakes, and toast, the all-day breakfast is a perfect way for guests to start their day.

Guests can begin their mornings with the cafe’s signature Maxwell’s Breakfast Fry Up (SGD 18), featuring mouth-watering pork sausages, country-style baked beans with streaky bacon, served with seared mushroom and fresh toast. The café also offers a selection of Australia’s finest coffee beans from Sarnies, allowing diners to enjoy a slow, chill-out morning over a cup of freshly brewed coffee.

The café gradually changes once mid-morning hits – welcoming the lunch time crowd with a variety of menu items including a unique take on local bites. With 14 main course items to choose from, this gem located at Ann Siang Hill is a great place to savour some flavourful food as well as interesting local creations served in generous portions.

Expect culinary infusions such as the Wok Breath Wagyu Beef (SGD 26) featuring the wok-fried hor fun rice noodle with a rich XO sauce, silver sprouts and Wagyu beef slices. Other specialties include The Club Burger (SGD 24), Maxwell’s Sandwich (SGD 26) and the Lamb Rendang (SGD 22).

At night, the venue transforms into a lounge bar, blending in with the host of nightlife activities within the Club Street area. Mr & Mrs Maxwell’s comes to live at night, spinning groovy tunes while offering guests a place to unwind and lounge at.

On top of signature cocktails and spirits offered during happy hour, guests can pair a large assortment of wines, house pours and beers with the delectable food from its all-day dining menu.

Guests to Mr & Mrs Maxwell’s cafe can also look forward to a retro cocktail menu inspired by the comedy-mystery film series, The Thin Man. The bar will feature a series of signature cocktails mirrored after the famous 1930s movie’s primary characters: Nick Charles, Nora Charles, Clyde Wannant and Julia Wolf. These unique cocktails are going at SGD 19 each.

The lounge further extends over to a courtyard garden, The Champagne Yard to accommodate the growing nightlife at the Club Street area. Located on the mezzanine floor of the 1st level, the venue is great for intimate gatherings and special celebrations, offering an extensive selection of premium champagnes and wines.

Guests can pair some wine with bite-sized snacks and appetisers such as the Steamed Rock Oysters (SGD 16), Mini Eggs Royale (SGD 16) and the Drunken Sakura Chicken (SGD 14).

Mr & Mrs Maxwell’s is located at 28 Ann Siang Road, Singapore 069708. The café is opened daily from 7am to 2.30am, with its breakfast menu available from 7am to 7pm, and all-day dining menu available from 12 noon to 2.30am.
