The event makes its return to Singapore for the first time since 2012.

Come September, there will be more pulsating races at the 2016 FORMULA 1 Singapore Airlines Singapore Grand Prix as the Ferrari Challenge Asia Pacific joins the TCR International Series and Porsche Carrera Cup Asia as the FORMULA 1 Singapore Airlines Singapore Grand Prix’s official support races.

Held from 16 to 18 September, the support events to the Grand Prix are expected to light up the Marina Bay Street Circuit as some of the world’s best sports car drivers go wheel-to-wheel in support of their FORMULA 1 counterparts.

The entry list will feature a number of top drivers from around the world – each of whom will race identical Ferrari 458 Challenge EVOs, complete with 4.5-litre V8 engines putting out 570bhp.

Also returning to the official support race bill is the TCR International Series. The global GT3-styled touring car series made its Singapore debut last year and fielded a range of 2.0-litre turbocharged production touring cars from major manufacturers Ford, Honda, Opel, SEAT and Volkswagen.

Last but not the least, the all-familiar Porsche Carrera Cup Asia will complete the official support race line-up at the Grand Prix with some of the best sports car drivers in the business battling it out in identical Porsche 911 GT3 Cup cars.

Ticket holders to the 2016 FORMULA 1 Singapore Airlines Singapore Grand Prix will be able to catch all three support races as well as the Formula 1 action at the Marina Bay Street Circuit.

Early-bird tickets with up to 28% off regular ticket prices are available for sale until 2 May at www.singaporegp.sg.
