We learn from American Express Travel about the 2015 trending destinations by North American consumers, while the Dorchester Collection readies themselves for Easter and Samujana opens their jewel Villa 30.

London, Santiago and Paris are favourite destinations on American Express Travel’s 2015 list of trending destinations

800 consultants at American Express Travel helped with producing a list and ranking based on destinations that experienced the largest year-on-year bookings growth.

According to the survey, the top 10 destinations for 2015 are:

  3. Paris, France
  4. Mumbai, India
  5. Buenos Aires, Argentina
  6. Providenciales, Turks and Caicos
  7. Puerto Vallarta, Mexico
  8. Sydney, Australia

Dorchester Collection gets ready for Easter

The Dorchester Collection has a portfolio of ten luxury hotels located throughout Europe and the USA. This Easter, the group is running a campaign for hotel guests to win a complimentary Easter stay.

Over Easter, each of the ten hotels will have one golden egg hidden in one of the rooms or suites. A lucky guest who books the hotel’s Easter package and who discovers the egg upon arrival, will have their charges waived for the Easter package booked. In London, guests at Coworth Park can look forward to an ideal Easter weekend destination offering luxury accommodation for two, Easter eggs and a fun-packed, chocolate-filled calendar of activities for kids. Prices start from £325 for a Stable Room.

This Easter, Coworth Park is offering three day Pony Camps for young equestrian enthusiasts aged four to 13 years for youngsters of all abilities. The day’s programme starts with an hour-long riding lesson followed by a different ‘stable topic’, ranging from stable management to grooming and caring for ponies and horses. Easter meals prepared straight from the gourmet kitchens of Coworth Park are served for lunch. Each afternoon, a different learning activity is incorporated into the programme such as polo lessons and carriage-driving. Easter treasure hunts on horseback and obstacle courses finish off the day at 4pm. Pony Camp is priced at £400 per child for a three day Pony Camp.

In Milan, Italy, guests at the Hotel Principe di Savoia can enjoy cultural and culinary delights of Milan in Spring through the ‘Easter Family Fun’ package. The package includes an extra complimentary bed in a triple room or 50 percent off an additional room for two children as well as a Euro 85 lunch credit, per room, for use at Acanto Restaurant or Salotto Lobby Lounge. Children will be welcomed with an Easter surprise gift. Prices begin from Euro 395 for a Classic Room.

Guests can enjoy classic Italian cuisine created by talented executive chef, Fabrizio Cadei. The Easter Sunday menu will include a celebratory glass of champagne, a delicious gourmet buffet-style brunch and a treasure hunt for the children. Easter brunch is priced at Euro 85 per person and includes a flute of Marguerite Guyot Champagne.

Samujana opens Villa 30, their jewel in their crown at Koh Samui, Thailand
