Jaguar’s F-PACE Finally Arrives

Jaguar’s first ever luxury performance SUV goes practical without compromising on performance.

The all-new Jaguar F-PACE has been announced and it looks every bit a Jaguar should be. Matched by a sporty silhouette, the performance crossover is developed using Jaguar’s Lightweight Aluminium Architecture, with the F-PACE’s aluminium-intensive monocoque enhancing torsional stiffness, as well as the front and rear suspension built on the back of the F-TYPE for increased driving dynamics.

The 2.0-litre four-cylinder Turbocharged Ingenium diesel engine delivers a power output of almost 178BHP and capable of hitting 100km/h from standstill in 8.7 seconds while the more powerful 3.0-litre V6 Supercharged petrol engine is built on a similar platform as the F-TYPE.

The F-PACE is available in four trim levels – the Prestige, R-Sport, the high-performance S model and First Edition, a special launch model of the F-PACE. The Prestige model manages approximately 335BHP and reaches 100km/h in 5.8 seconds. The R-Sport and S models churn out 374BHP and breach the century sprint in 5.5 seconds.

Transmission is granted with an Automatic 8-speed gearbox with Jaguar Sequential Shift. The All-Wheel Drive (AWD) system is complimented with the in-house Intelligent Driveline Dynamics (IDD) control, a traction management system that distributes required torque to the front axle whilst preserving rear-wheel drive agility of the vehicle on all surfaces and weather conditions.
