SAFRA Singapore Bay Run & Army Half Marathon 2016: Special Rates For NSmen’s Families

The SAFRA Singapore Bay Run & Army Half Marathon returns for its 24th edition this 28 August.

The SAFRA Singapore Bay Run & Army Half Marathon (SSBR & AHM) returns this year with special registration packages for the immediate family members of Singapore Armed Forces’ (SAF) active servicemen, Operationally Ready NSmen (ORNS), and those who have completed their ORNS training cycles.

Each NSmen can nominate up to five immediate family members to participate in the run with them at a special family rate. For instance, family members are only required to pay SGD 9 each – enjoying a discount of more than 60 percent. In addition, those running for the 21km, and 10km categories will receive a limited edition Army running singlet.

ORNS and those who have completed their ORNS training cycles will also get to enjoy a significant discount of over 75 percent on registration fees for the 21km, 10km and 5km categories.

NSmen who are fathers can also look forward to the return of the Families for Life 800m Challenge to bond with their children.

Make it a fitness-focused family outing by registering for the SSBR & AHM run and strengthen bonds with each other’s support. Flagging off at the Esplanade Bridge, the run will conclude at Padang.

Early Bird Registration is open from now to 3 July, with SAF Family Members’ registration fees starting at SGD 9 for the SAFRA 5km Fun Run category. Registrations will close on 28 July.
