Start your day right by having a fuss-free morning breakfast

Do you always find yourself dashing out the door without eating breakfast? Perhaps you may want to change this habit and start your day right with a healthy breakfast meal that is 100 percent fuss-free.

Breakfast can help you become more productive during the day. At the same time, having a meal before stepping out keeps you from binge eating during the day. It’s always great to leave for work with your stomach full to avoid temptation along the way— such as chocolate donuts, sugary pastries or fast food breakfast meals.

Here are some simple breakfast ideas you may want to try, that take very little preparation time:

Apple Sandwiches

Tired of the usual sub-quality sandwich for breakfast? Why not use slices of apples as buns and fill them up with almond butter and granola mixture. All you have to do is spread the filling in between apple slices. This makes a yummy breakfast and a healthy one too!

Avocado Toast with Eggs

Simply smash avocado and sprinkle salt and pepper to taste. Layer it on your lightly toasted slices of whole-grain bread and top with a sunny-side up egg. Definitely a healthy breakfast with a dose of protein. Feel free to stack them in a container to bring them out.

Smoothies

This is a perfect on-the-go breakfast when you’re really in a hurry to leave.  Simply blend frozen bananas, honey, Greek yogurt, peanut butter, soy milk and a few ice cubes. It doesn’t take that long to blend them altogether!

Fruity Yogurt Bowl

Simply toss your favorite fruits in a bowl together with your favorite yogurt. Pick fresh fruits that are in season and choose a low fat yogurt for a healthy treat. There are various fruits available in the market so you shouldn’t run out of options!

Oatmeal

This may be a very basic breakfast meal but you can get creative by adding healthy toppings such as nuts, granolas, fruits and even use natural flavors such as pumpkin or chocolate. It’s always nice to switch things us as oatmeal is a healthy bowl of breakfast to keep you energised during the day.

Being healthy does not have to take a lot of effort on your behalf. Go the extra mile, wake up earlier or prepare these simple meals the night before for a delicious and healthy breakfast.
