Trisara Phuket captures holiday moments at ‘The Director’s Den’
The Director’s Den has just opened at Trisara Phuket to help guests shoot and capture virtual reality videos of their stay
Trisara Phuket recently unveiled The Director’s Den for guests to engage during their stay. The Director’s Den is a concierge service and facility that guests can use for professional photo and video production and editing.
Located within the resort, The Director’s Den houses a team of professional producers and digital artists to help guests capture their holiday moments through video, photo or virtual reality.
To do so, guests can use their own camera or loan equipment such as a GoPro video camera and even work with the crew to capture events in a virtual reality format. The crew can capture underwater and aerial images using underwater equipment and drones as well.
The process happens across three steps. Guests will work with the producers on a holiday story using pre-filmed storyboards such as a romantic holiday or going on an adventure. They will proceed to capture pictures or video to be part of their video. Finally, they will work with the producers on the video using personal quotes, songs, as well as professional Trisara Phuket resort and destination footage.
The process is highly customisable. Guests can work with the producers on their own storyline. If guests prefer to enjoy the moments instead of filming them, they can engage The Director’s Den crew to capture the footage for them.
The Director’s Den services begin from an introductory rate of USD 100 (until 31 Dec, 2015), including the use of a GoPro video camera as well as basic editing services. For the virtual reality video format, costs are approximately USD 400 to engage the crew for an hour. Guests will receive a Virtual Reality viewer (similar to the Google cardboard viewer) as well as a softcopy of the video in a thumb drive. All editing services are provided with 24 hour turnaround time.
Trisara Phuket is having a ‘Stay 4 nights pay 3 nights’ promotion until 31 March 2016. The rate applies to the pool room, suite or hotel villa categories. Guests can expect to enjoy daily breakfast, private car transfers, Fast-Track service at the airport for international flights, a Trisara designer beach bag amongst other benefits. The starting rate for the promotion is THB 97, 400++ for the Ocean Pool Room.
