Cycle & Carriage Kia has recently launched the all-new Kia Sportage to further compete in the highly competitive compact SUV segment.

Into its fourth generation, the new Sportage line-up was recently awarded the top Product Design at the Red Dot Design Awards, as Kia continues to make massive developments on improving their product line-up.

The new Sportage is said to feature a tougher body structure and a range of active safety systems that will offer higher standards in occupant and pedestrian safety. It was also accorded the 5-Star rating in the Euro NCAP and remains compliant with the latest Euro 5 emission standards. Performance wise, the lightened “Nu” 2.0L MPi engine with Dual Continuous Variable Valve Timing (DCVVT) is expected to deliver 152 bhp and 192 Nm of torque. Mated to a six-speed automatic transmission, the Sportage will be available in two variants; front-wheel and all-wheel drive.

While the interior space has been increased via extension of the wheelbase and overall dimensions, the seats have also been redesigned to reduce ride vibration and enhanced seating comfort. An advanced 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment display that is both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatible is included as standard equipment on the Sportage.
