The 100 percent Fairtrade hot drinks company has recently launched its 2016 Great Taste Award prize-winner coffee.
Made from 100 percent Arabica beans, coffee lovers will be thrilled to know that Cafédirect’s new Tarrazu Terroir Roast & Ground Coffee is now available in Singapore shores. Offering a true taste of Costa Rica, expect to delight in a medium-bodied, aromatic single origin terroir coffee complete with natural sweet peachy notes.
The beans are grown in the mountainous, rich volcanic soils of Costa Rica’s Tarrazu region, which provide ideal conditions with no need for pesticides due to its high altitudes (1200 – 2000m). In addition, the high daylight temperatures and cold nights help to slow down the growth cycle of the coffee, allowing for more complex sugars and acids to develop.
To prepare a cup of Cafédirect Tarrazu Terroir Roast & Ground Coffee, simply brew the grounds in freshly boiled water using a plunger for all the flavours to release. Pair with a scone, fruit tart or any of the stoned fruits for a complete experience!
