Hi5SG is a non-profit campaign that wants to help diners rediscover hundreds of homegrown restaurants, eateries and cafes while also raising funds for charity.

Bar-A-Thym Charcuterie Board

From September 2020 to January 2021, over 90 restaurants (with more being added to the list through the period) are sharing special dining experiences themed around the number “5”. These include SGD 5 dishes and drinks, 55% off and SGD 55 set menus. The use of the number “5” is a creative play on the current 5-pax dining rule with Hi5SG aiming to support F&B business recovery while honouring the need of safe distancing.

Hi5SG is created by the same team that started #savefnbsg. Through this campaign, they are championing and encouraging the positive loop of giving back amongst restaurants, consumers and underprivileged communities.

The Hi5SG campaign aims to raise a total of SGD 300,000 for its official beneficiary =DREAMS. The sister organisation of South Central Community Family Service Centre, =DREAMS is a residential-based intensive educational program that mentors underprivileged children in order to rechart their lives for a bright future.

Hi5SG is a nationwide dining campaign supported by Enterprise Singapore to encourage the continuation of business recovery amidst the ongoing COVID pandemic. This is also among the key activities under the Domestic Recovery Campaign – SingapoRediscovers – driven by ESG and the Singapore Tourism Board.
