Personal Mobility Extravaganza at iWheel4Fun 2016
These days, bicycles aren’t the only solution for commuting, and iWheel4Fun 2016 will be the best way to check out the range of Personal Mobility Devices (PMDs) that’s available here.
Electric Scooters, Electric Unicycle, 2-Wheelers Balancing devices and Kick Scooters have increased in popularity over the last two years as a legitimate form of alternative transportation, mostly as the first and last mile solution; much like bicycles, but more compact and more suited for urban movement.
In-conjunction with Car-Free Sunday, and initiated by SCC Travel Services and PMD community groups like Big Wheel Scooter Singapore (BWSS) and The Wheelies and strategic partners, iWheel4Fun is the First Active Mobility Carnival in Singapore, which will showcase the largest range of Personal Mobility Devices in one venue (12,000 sqm). In addition to being able to check a wide variety of brands and PMD models, you are also able to try them on a 150m long and 10m wide track.
It’s not only just for people trying to get a feel for PMDs. Enthusiasts can take on the iWheel4Fun Challenge, a time-based obstacle circuit for 3 main categories of PMDs; the electric scooter, electric unicycle and kick scooter.
For non-competitive activities, also check out the treasure hunt, fun races, performances, outdoor activities, workshops, trial clinics to learn how to ride or skate, discussion panels, food trucks and many more.
