TripleFit — the Most Complete, Modern Gym in Town?

By  |  0 Comments

If you’re shopping around for a new gym, then you might want to take a look at the latest one in town. TripleFit is an ambitious project by sports retailer, Triple, to create a one-stop fitness and retail hub that also incorporates the latest personal fitness tech into its programmes.

TripleFit says they are the first in South-East Asia to incorporate state-of-the-art wearable fitness trackers by POLAR, together with the POLAR Flow Club Solutions application for its fitness group classes.

The idea behind incorporating trackers into the programmes is to obtain meaningful data that can help users identify areas for improvement and the coaches will personalise their regimes so they can reach their goals more efficiently.

Polar Club collaboration

Polar Club

Polar Club is a unique cloud-based training system that helps TripleFit coaches to better manage, track and analyse the quality and quantity of group exercise classes.

Members can experience training at different heart rate intensities as coaches can monitor participants’ heart rates and other data in real time and make the necessary adjustments so that everyone is performing optimally.

It also gives coaches an added safety precaution to ensure that participants are consistently training in a safe and healthy heart-rate zone.

The data-based, sports science approach is also a good motivator as you can see tangible improvements as well as take immediate action when the numbers show that you are doing something wrong.

Users can sync Polar devices like the M600, A360, and M200 with the Polar Flow online platform to view workout details and receive guidance and suggestions for improvement, as well as keep track of long-term progress.

Taking care of all fitness needs

Retail-Hub

TripleFit also offers a ‘Fitness Personal Shopper Programme’ to educate members on the benefits of the different technologies within each apparel offered, as well as how to choose the right equipment and apparel, such as choosing the right compression gear to selecting the perfect shoe to match your training and running style.

Aside from the Retail Zone and the Fitness Hub, the 23,500 square feet area will also consist of a consumer electronics zone offering fitness tracking products from JBL, Fitbit, and Polar.

Members can also refresh themselves post-training with cold-pressed juices, customised protein shakes and wholesome bites from HIC Juice.
