Puma Launches The Puma NightCat Powered Collection
PUMA continues its commitment in creating innovative, creative and faster products for athletes and consumers with this season’s performance products.
For Autumn/Winter 2014, PUMA introduces NightCat Powered in selected PUMA Running products that gives runners protection and visibility through reflective features and a user-controlled, lightweight (4.7g), removable and rechargeable LED light.
NightCat Powered makes it possible for the runner to have a constant light source in low light conditions. The LED illumination is built right into the product without the need for additional gears. NightCat Powered provides both steady and on-blinking lighting options; whether it’s the jacket, shoe or backpack, simply turn it on and go.
The NightCat Powered Running Collection includes the following products:
Mobium Elite Ride – An update of the award-winning adaptive running shoe, Mobium Elite. It maintains the same features as the Mobium Elite – the Mobium Band to enhance propulsion at toe-off, the Windlass Chassis to facilitate the expansion and contraction of the midsole and the Forefoot Expansion Pods to expand and contract with the movement of the foot – but is more suitable for the traditional heel striker looking for an everyday running shoe.
Faas 600 v2 – A redesign, updates include an improved upper fit and brand new tooling featuring a full-length transitional channel that mimics the runner’s natural gait cycle pattern, encouraging a more natural ride.
The NightCat Powered editions for the Mobium Elite Ride and Faas 600 v2 feature 360 degrees of reflectivity and a blue LED light that sits on top of the tongue, with power that can last up to four hours when fully charged.
Other exciting products from the NightCat Powered range include:
Pure NightCat Powered Jacket – A jacket that provides constant protection at any time of the night or during low light settings and boasts everything else you would expect in a premium running tech jacket – constant all-over protection, easy maintenance and breathability. The jacket is NightCat Powered with highly reflective materials and flexible fiber optic cable embedded along the back and arms that transports light through a LED source that can provide up to 1.5 hours visibility.
NightCat Powered Backpack – Built to enhance the runner’s body in motion with lightweight performance materials and a convenient, easy to use design. The backpack features a hydration system compatible with a quick attach tube keeper for hydration tube adjustability. The NightCat Powered backpack also comes with 3M reflective Cat print and LED light that can last up to 1.5 hours.
